"At first glance Ninjatown: Trees of Doom! may seem like your everyday jumping game, but it’s just not. The colorful artwork and characters coupled with the simple yet amazingly addictive gameplay makes this one stand out amongst the crowd. It’s an absolute must-have for casual gaming fans."
- appadvice
"Trees of Doom's appeal comes largely thanks to its crisp, richly colored artwork. Sure, the gameplay itself is an interesting spin on the usual tilt or tap mechanic, requiring quite a bit of dexterity and skill to land precision jumps... They're about high scores and quick games that keep you coming back for more. Trees of Doom definitely delivers on this, and looks great to boot... this is definitely a worthwhile pickup."
- touchArcade
"Survival games are as addictive as they are simple, but sometimes we want something more. Ninjatown: Trees of Doom fills that void nicely...Trees of Doom is the next game you should put on your shopping list."

- Gaming Bits offers at $1.99, all I have to say is: get it. 5 out of 5."
"Ninjatown is highly addictive, so make sure you spend that $1.99 wisely. If you can afford to lose large chunks of time to the game then we recommend you go for it! Effortless touch controls, stylish visuals and engaging gameplay make Ninjatown: Trees Of Doom! a brilliant title. Grade: B, Great."
- games uncovered
"...Trees of Doom! succeeds because its simple premise begs for multiple plays. Doesn't matter how awful we perform, we always fire it back up to see if we can break 1,000 meters or higher. 4 out of 5."
- modojo
"The randomness of scenarios and desire to get that all important high score on the Plus+ leaderboard (included in the game) will soak up much of your coffee breaks and lunch hours. For £1.19, I'd say that's a bargain. 4 out of 5."
- UFO Gamers
"Fly like a ninja quickly up trees – of DOOM! That's right, DOOM!"
- Plus+ featured game (newsletter)
"By law, I’m required to talk about a ninja game every time I mention a zombie game. So it’s a good thing Venan Entertainment released Ninjatown: Trees of Doom ($1.99) this week, and an equally good thing that – like Zombie Infection – this is a quality game from a crowded genre."
