Despite the copious amount of snow everywhere this season, rather than a brilliant, stark white, a lingering sepia tone casts its hue onto everything and everyone. Is this our reality now? Somehow becoming dull, moving photographs? We all meet in the Henderson family barn most nights, bringing as many lanterns as we can muster in an effort to feel true light again. It feels nice. Like life being breathed upon us again.
